There are many ways to get involved with YDB! You can volunteer your time, give monetary donations, donate tools and other materials or just spread the word. No matter how you get involved, your support helps our students transform their lives and rebuild our communities.

Advocate

With today’s rough economy and job instability, nonprofits across the board have struggled to obtain federal funding. YDB hasn’t been immune. You can do your part and write or talk to your local state representative and/or Congressman/woman explaining how vital it is to fund programs like YouthBuild Detroit. Let your voice be heard!

Volunteer

We are always seeking volunteer tutors for our students. To find out more about becoming a tutor call us at 313.964.2763 or email our Tutor/Volunteer Coordinator, Mike Centi, at mcenti@youngdetroitbuilders.org. Also, we have at least one community service project a month. If you would like to participate in one, please email Community Partnership Specialist, Brittany Smith, at bsmith@youngdetroitbuilders.org.
