To truly understand Young Detroit Builder you must experience the respect, responsibility, knowledge, leadership, love, and community for yourself. We have on going events that allow you to join with us in service at our Learning Center and construction site to explore the program hands on and hear the impact of our service work from students.  This section is updated regularly so check frequently for new and exciting events.

SHOWDOWN IN MOTOW        Our third annual SHOWDOWN IN MOTOWN will            take place on September 21, 2006 at the Magic Stick         Theatre.         Currently we are searching for new talent with a       variety of music styles with a     focus on the Detroit       music scene…rhythm and blues, gospel, jazz, and       the Motown sound.  If you or anyone you know is       interested in performing please   give Bev Manick a       call at (313) 256- 7291         If performing is not your thing but you would like to      get involved with     recruiting talents, being a  judge at      auditions, helping with publicity, or serving in        a variety of other positions please don’t hesitate to         call.
